Angel City Mural Conservators was founded through the collaboration of Kuva Zakheim and Joseph Scott-Webster, uniting generations of mural conservation expertise with a shared commitment to preserving Los Angeles' artistic heritage. Building on the internationally recognized Zakheim family legacy, Kuva brings museum-grade conservation knowledge developed over decades of work on some of the world's most significant murals and fine art. Together with Joseph's practical restoration expertise and dedication to craftsmanship, they provide thoughtful, professional conservation solutions that protect murals as enduring works of art and cultural history.
For more than three generations, the Zakheim family has been at the forefront of mural conservation, preserving some of America's most significant public artworks and fine art masterpieces. From pioneering techniques for relocating and restoring historic murals to developing conservation methods now used throughout the industry, our legacy is built on craftsmanship, innovation, and a deep respect for artists and their work.
Today, Angel City Mural Conservators continues that tradition by combining museum-grade conservation practices with decades of hands-on experience.
